UNA ANTIGUA FÁBULA* ACERCA DE UNA COLIBRÍ EJEMPLIFICA NUESTRA FORMA DE REACCIONAR ANTE UNA CRISIS.
EN ESTOS MOMENTOS NOS ENFRENTAMOS A LA CRISIS DEL AGUA Y EL SANEAMIENTO. ¿VAS A SER UN MERO ESPECTADOR O PASARÁS A LA ACCIÓN?
«Cierto día se declaró un incendio en el bosque
y todos los animales huyeron despavoridos.
Sin embargo, tras ponerse a salvo, se quedaron pasmados contemplando las llamas, sumidos en el terror y la tristeza.
Por encima de sus cabezas, una colibrí iba y venía del fuego, una y otra vez.
Los animales más grandes preguntaron a la colibrí qué estaba haciendo.
—Vuelo al lago a por agua para ayudar a apagar las llamas.
Los animales se echaron a reír y exclamaron:
—¡Tú sola no puedes extinguir el incendio!
—Es cierto —contestó la colibrí—, pero estoy aportando mi granito de arena».

RIGHT NOW, WE FACE A WATER AND SANITATION CRISIS. DO WE STAND AND STARE?
OR, DO WE ACT?
‘One day in the forest, a fire broke out.
All the animals ran for their lives.
They stood at the edge of the blaze, looking at the flames in terror and sadness.
Up above their heads, a hummingbird was flying back and forth to the fire, over and over again.
The bigger animals asked the hummingbird what she was doing.
“I am flying to the lake to get water to help put out the fire.”
The animals laughed at her and said, “You can’t put out this fire!”
The hummingbird replied, “I’m doing what I can.”’

«UNE LÉGENDE* RACONTE L’HISTOIRE D’UN COLIBRI QUI ILLUSTRE NOTRE RÉACTION FACE AUX CRISES.
NOUS SOMMES ACTUELLEMENT CONFRONTÉS À UNE CRISE DE L’EAU ET DE L’ASSAINISSEMENT. DEVONS-NOUS RESTER PASSIFS? OU DEVONS-NOUS AGIR?
Un jour, un incendie se déclara dans la forêt.
Tenant à la vie, tous les animaux fuirent.
Au bord du brasier, ils contemplèrent les flammes avec terreur et tristesse.
Au-dessus de leurs têtes, un colibri faisait sans relâche des allers-retours en direction du feu.
Les autres animaux, plus grands, demandèrent au colibri ce qu’il était en train de faire.
«Je vais chercher de l’eau au lac pour tenter d’éteindre le feu.»
Moqueurs, les animaux lui lancèrent: «Tu ne peux pas éteindre ce feu!»
Le colibri répondit: «Je fais ma part.»
